Hi all and thanks for the forum and help! I'm looking to possibly buy a 1982 500SEL that I believe is a Euro spec car. I'm waiting for the VIN but picture looks like it could be. I think it has been sitting a while and probably has issues.. So, in trying to find parts, I'm in the US by the way, I can't lookup any parts for a 1982 500SEL because they didn't offer it in the US at that time, so no parts places like PeachParts, FCP, Autohauz, etc. offer me ways to look up parts. Is there a cross reference book or possibly a Euro service manual in English that would cover this car? Any help you can offer would be appreciated! I'm hoping to have the VIN by tomorrow so I can also repost or add it here or to a comment if that will also help.
