Help swapping M104 into 89 300CE C124
Hi,
Toasted M103 and plan to swap 92 M104 from a 92 w140 300SE. Wondering about - oil pan different? - fuel pump? - wiring issues - motor mounts - instrumentation Any other advice appreciated. |

It would be a lot easier to find a serviceable M103, which should be pretty much plug and play.
I'm curious... what happened to the original M103? Those engines are pretty durable. Many have logged well over 250K miles. Duke |

The early M104's are pretty problematic. I just gave up on a 1992 300CE, parts specific for that engine were to expensive and really hard to get.
