I was broadsided by a huge deer tonight and other than a small dent on my left rear door the only thing damaged was my left outside mirror. It appears that the only thing really bad was the glass itself. It is hanging and I can't figure out how to release the electrical connection. It looks like a pretty straightforward snap in connection but I can't disconnect it. All the youtube videos I've looked at have a simple two wires that are easy to disconnect but mine has this small harness that won't release. I've tried to post a picture but it is too big. I post pictures on forums all the time with no trouble. I'll try and better describe it. There are four small black wires coming from the car and two orange wires a purple wire and a black wire going into the mirror. The purple wire appears to be soldered to the top edge of the glass and the black soldered to the bottom
edge. The two orange wires look to be quick disconnects to the heating elements. I just cant figure out how to disconnect the four black ones coming from the car from the others. It looks like a simple disconnect but the male plug from the car won't pull out from the female side. Help!
