My wifes 89 300 SE is heating up to the red line today. I checked and the AC cooling fan is not coming on. I checked the fuses but didn't see any blown. I know there is any easy test to make a connection and the fan should come on but I for got how to do it.
Any help appreciated.

You need to touch the two wires at the dryer switch together to make the fan come on. I suspect you have more issues than just the fan not coming on.

Fuse blown!
I did find the 16 amp fuse blown and didn't have another, so I put a 25 amp in it for now. The fan is working OK but will get a new 16 tomorrow to see if there are issues with the fan motor.
Thanks
