Cool 300e Radiator Elbow Fitting Replacement

During my water pump replacement this past weekend i must of leaned on this a bit and its slightly leaking today(not broken) I ordered a new one today along with a coolant level sensor from phil at fastlane today (nice guy!)

Has anyone replaced one other than the people that had broken the clips ? How exactly is this done and is any sealer needed?

It is such a inexpensive part that instead of glopping some glue around it, i would like to replace it , i did a search for it in the forums and saw how people have broken the clips to get it out , wonder if anybody was succesful at just removing it

thanks

Never thought the removal of that part was an issue...mine comes off easily.
