Buzzing Sound (2006 E320 CDI)

I had to change recently the heater control valve (below wiper motor) on my 2006 CDI. I now have heat, but since I changed the valve, I hear a 5 second buzzing sound when I start and shut down car. I hear it occasionally while driving. He seems to be coming from the center dash area.

Anyone know if this is a coincidence of changing the valve? I did use an aftermarket valve! Could the sound be from something else?

HELP!

Richard
