I have a 300E 87. I believe the cable that closes the sunroof broke. I am able to pull/push the roof closed with my hands which is why I think the cable broke. Luckily, I think the motor is fine.
My question is how much labor and parts should I expect from my local MB repair shop (MB Motors - Fairfax, VA)? 1-3 hours? Thanks in advance, Eli [This message has been edited by ECollier (edited 05-31-99).] |

Many times when the cable breaks, the conduit and or the motor can be damaged. It can be expensive so my best advice is take it to someone you trust.

Ed, I'd be interested in finding out how much the repair costed. I'm afraid my sunroof might need work soon and I'm looking for some "ball park" figures...
