First post. '98 320CLK owner since 1999. I tried posting in Parts For Sale/Wanted but being a newby, I guess es ist verboten, for some reason.

I'm looking for these exterior A-pillar trim panel fasteners/grommets.

Can anyone turn me onto a parts drawing, etc. that identifies the name/part number for these? Like many other German machine assemblies these may not even have a discrete part number.

Yes, I have the VIN, I just don't know where to look for the part, short of driving 30 miles to the nearest MB dealership...


EDIT - found the part number for the trim panel on eBay.... 208-690-03-87. Checking several MB parts suppliers show the panel only, does not include the plastic clips, and no reference to where they can be found.
