Parts NLA at dealer
Frustrating experience with RBM here in Atlanta, i am into my sls accumulators on my 124 estate and one keeps leaking no matter how tight i get the banjo bolt.
I’d like to buy some new copper crush washers, 007603016103 , But Mercedes computer system has sale suspended They are unicorn poop, larger than 14mm Benz oil drain plug but smaller than 16mm Volvo drain plug seal, so I’m guessing 15mm. Why doesn’t Mercedes support parts for their old cars?! My buddy has expressed similar situations with his 202’s and 210’s of late, lots of frequently failing parts NLA, like k40 relays and pierburg intake manifolds, among others. It doesn’t seem like the aftermarket is going to step in for us, the junkyards will be all we have left and the pickings are getting ever slimmer… Lots of people at work say, you should stop driving old Benz’s, but I’ve never had a car payment and i love keeping these cars on the road and the feel of them in the curves. I’m driving my moms 78 300d now since my 95 e300d has a bad 722.4 and now my 94e320 pisses zh-m( at least I’ve fully flushed the system with four failed attempts to bleed the system) and i really love how light weight and nimble it feels on country roads

Have you tried just taking it to NAPA and see how close they can get to the size? Then you could remove ID material to resize if need be. Typically I don't get too concerned over anything but the ID because if the OD of the crush ring is a little larger it should not really cause an issue.
Another thought try taking it to a Kubota tractor dealer and see if they can match it. I suspect they can.

You could try belmetric although you would most likely have to send them the part for comparison purposes.

Pelican has all the crush washers. Fischer Plath brand. I just make sure to get extras of all the common sizes when I make an order. I keep a jar with fresh ones ready for maintenance work. I didn’t seem to have the big one for the differential fill plug yesterday…I should have measured it when it was out. Just search under copper washer or aluminum washer.
The parts situation is bad. On my C280 I cannot get a lot of stuff. The rubber diaphragms in the locks and hvac are starting to leak. I am just plugging things off or replacing the vacuum motors with hacked w124 stuff. Since my car doesn’t have a keyhole on the drivers side it’s going to be a problem soon. I have that passive security system that’s all intertwined with the door locking so converting back to a mechanical key may not be an option. Immobilizer bs. I don’t blame MB for not supporting the old cars. They are actually in financial trouble now and this is one cost center that they can easily cut to maintain profitability. At least that is what the finance news says…apparently their sales have collapsed. Supporting us old car nuts just exacerbates their problems. It really isn’t in their best interests to make us an over engineered super durable car and then provide parts for thirty years. My friend who was sales at a dealership said he liked guys like me because he could point to us and tell new clients that they were making an “investment in quality”. But I think it is just not serving them anymore.
