Hi all, have a w114 1970 sedan and the front dome light doesn't work... tested the connector by itself, both pins and got voltage, tested the connector attached the light pins and got voltage, new bulb also but no light? Tested to see if there was voltage on the metal clip that holds the bulb and it had nothing.

Maybe the contact points on the light switch need to be adjusted so they hit the the pins better?

Ive posted a photo of the version of light i have, it has a switch that has 3 positions using the switch.

solved, sanded back the pins abit and the earth connection

Those look just like the lights I used to have in my '87 BMWs. They can be a challenge.
