I want to remove the starter from the engine.
The lower bolt is easy to remove but the upper bolt, who has probably no nut, is very hard to remove because no wrench can be placed on the bolt. Can you please given me some advice how to remove the upper bolt of the starter. Do I have to remove the dripstick tube of the gearbox to gain some extra space? Kinds regards Siene de Vries |

You have to use a special tool that has a u-joint built on to it. This will allow access to the bolt without removal of the dipstick tube.
