|
have a 94 c280 mbz - dead battery, jump started the car - srs warning light lit up. got a used battery but the light is still lit. went to a mechanic try to re-set does not respond. does anybody know how or were i could get it reset or fixed? need help please. thanks!

Sometimes the overvoltage relay can cause this, but more often than not I have found that after a dead battery and a jump, the control unit will have to be replaced.:-[
You need to have the codes pulled for the fault. IF they will not clear, the control unit is usually at fault.
