In a previous post, MB Doc said <<A new chain should last at least 125k miles, IF the engine was built after July 1986 or a chain "oiler" was retrofitted.>>
Is this a good idea for a 1985 190E?? I'm probably going to have my timing chain replaced as early as Friday (6/4) or Monday (6/7). Any guess-timate on oiler price?? Thanks again for your always speedy replies. Stephen Davis 1985 190E [This message has been edited by CafcoTX (edited 06-03-99).] |
