(1973) 450sl--- Compressor
While looking at my engine I noticed there is no belt tensioner on
the compressor bracket. I purchased the car 12/26/01. Is it missing?I looked in the Mercedes A/C parts manual and they don't list or show one in the diagram. Have I overlooked it? The belt is 13x850. I am at a lost as to what to do HELPPPPP!!!!!!! thanks.

The Compressor belt is not tensioned at the compressor but at the small pully towards the middle of the engine front.

1973--450 sl compressor
There is no pulley at the middle of the engine .I believe it was removed by the previous owner or didn't come with this model. If the pulley is needed does anyone know the part # so I can order it and the attaching bolts. Thanks.
