On a 190E 2.3 it takes about 1 hour! But on a 2.6 this job takes about 2.5-3 hrs as the A/C has to be discharged & then recharged.

WOW, That's incredible!

M.B.Doc,
You mean to tell us that you have to open the A/C system to change the Radiator out on the 2.6? That's amazing. I've never done a 190e, but I've done my 400e and a dozen other makes/models. The A/C system on ALL those cars/jobs was a none issue
What's the deal with the 2.6??

Room!! YOU even have to un-bolt part of the radiator core support!! The 190E 2.6 has different hood, core support, & front grill as the M103 engine is 50% longer than the M102.

Thanks, I can honestly say I didn't know

That. So the hood and grill assy of the 6 cyl is diff than that of the 4 cyl equipped cars. I guess I've never seen them side by side. But now you got me really curious...............

Well I'm pretty handy with wrench...

The plastic piece where the hose connects is broken and someone tried to glue it back together.

How do I change the radiator out? I dont have to drain it??
