Dear Sirs,
My '89 300SE (59,000)-- Fuel indicator reads OK until 1/2 ... then sticks ... Lo Reserve Lite comes on OK, which leads me to believe the 'float' is OK. How big of a job to change the indicator ... IF that is the problem? |

The gauge is probably the problem. You will need a set of dash hooks to pull the cluster and replace the gauge.
MercedesShop may be able to help with a used or new gauge. We will be offering parts soon. ------------------ Benzmac: ASE CERTIFIED MASTER AUTO TECHNICIAN LEAD TECHNICIAN FOR 14 BAY FACILITY MERCEDES SPECIALIST 8 YRS PARTNER IN MERCEDESSHOP.COM |
