I have the CD changer in my 99 E430. Every time I shut off the engine with the CD playing. Then I start the engine again the sound system will display "NO CD CHANGER". I have to eject the CD magazine and reinsert again more than a few time in order to get it to work again. Then the problem will start again after I shut off the engine.
Is there anyone else who has the same problem? |

Sounds like a warranty complaint to me...I haven't seen this yet. Let us know what was wrong.

The radio must not be programed correctly, have your dealer check it out.

The dealer thinks the fiber optic cable between the stereo and the CD Changer got "bend" somewhere.
