Help! I have a 94 C280 with a rough running engine.
A few days ago, for no obvious reason, my engine began to run rough - both at idle and during normal hiway operation. The distinct odor of gasoline was present.
Research here suggested that the problem was likely faulty coil end caps, plugs or wires. I replced them all.
The result: No Change!
Could the problem be that I did not replace the inputs and caps that supply electricity to the coil? Or could the problem be related to a faulty sensor, orsomething entirely different?
There is NO check engine light and the only other obvious anomoly is that the A/C will shut down of its own accord, at slow speeds.
Thanks, in advance, for any insights.
