from recollection,

W124 '94-'95 Sedan and Coupe 0-60mph, around 7.5 seconds

w/take >longer 0-60mph time if car has:

> bigger/ heavier/wider wheels/tires: +1, +2
> big stereo equip in it (ie +100lbs etc.)
> engine/ transmission/ etc. is not effectively operating at 100%

hope this helps

I think you mean 93-95.

The 3.2 engine was released in 1993, even though the badge still reads 300E (read my signature).

Even though the 93's don't have the updated hood / lights / trunklid as 94-95's, they still share the same interior, VIN#, engine#, and chasis #'s.

Also in Europe, the updated look came out in 1993, not 1994.

yeah, i meant 93-95. didn't mean to offend anyone. i left out that it is the sedan. is there anywhere i can find performance data for the car when it was new... for instance, are there any old magazine articles anyone can remember off the top of their head?
thanks,
matt

Similarly, my 95 C280 was reported (by MBUSA) to do 0-60 in 8.3 seconds. However, my stock C280 does it in 7.1 seconds. Mercedes' acceleration numbers have always been rather conservative. I also believe they do the 0-60 tests with 2 passengers and 150 lbs of luggage!

So I'd assume that the E320 could probably pull roughly 7.5 or so.

hey fad,

i'm upgrading my crappy stocks to Brabus monoblock iv's which are 17x8, according to your post, my car's going to be a second or two slower on the take off...what advantages will i have with bigger wider wheels aside from handling/awesome looks?

There is also a 320CE badge available. Knocks a quarter second off my time.
