To day I have a 89 420sel 107542 miles tow in
with engine damaged cause by timing chain rail (was bronek) plastic pieces drop in btw chain & gear cause timing chain to jump on driver side, bent veles...guys this is not the first time I see that happen so the best
insurance is replace your timing chain, chain
rails,thesioner at 100,000 miles.

Man what a small world...I just had a tow in with 111,000 miles with the exact same problem. Though this is not the first time I have seen this it is the lowest miles I have seen the failure.
