Tracking Down Alternator Regulator

Greetings All,

Just wondering if there is some guide or online reference to a Bosch alternator parts list that is referenced by the model alternator that you have? I am looking for a regulator for a Bosch alternator model AL8670N which is fitted into my '91 S-10 Blazer. Any ideas out there please shout out so I don't have to replace the entire unit verses a less costly option.

Thanks,

Charles

I do nothave the part list but...Just look in the back of the alternator...

if you see the regulator attached with a couple of screws. It should come off easy.

Looking for replacement part number not location

Greetings,

I am looking for a replacement regulator that will fit on the alternator, not it's location. I was wondering if there is a way to look up the regulator type or p/n based off the model of the alternator.

alternator regulator

Do you want to install a external regulator to your S-10 alternator, You can buy a new or rebuilt alternator for less than $100.00, By the time you find something that would work and figure out how to hook it up to the alternator it will end up costing more (your time is worth something) than just getting another alternator, and it will have a warranty.
