It's only 107* here in Phoenix, and my left rear window is stuck in the down position! My rear fuses in the trunk are all good. When i push either of the switches, it sounds and looks like the window wants to go both up and down, but it will not continue upwards. any good ideas on servicing this, and parts that are required? thanks, mike in phoenix.

From the Details You Are Talking about ...The Window regulator is Broken..Its Not to Big of a deal..R/R the door panel and drill out the Rivets that hold the regulator and replace the regulator
And Reinstall new pop rivets..Good luck! |

temporary fix
mmaeser,
This worked for me as a temp fix.... push the switch to move the window down, pull the window up manually if you can, then try to push the switch to raise the window. Sometimes the riser will latch under the window and hold it up. My W126 has a cheap plastic part linking the raising arm and the window (wit the rivet mentioned above). Easy to replace, I had to take out the window regulator to flatten out the new rivet. Chuck |
