Angry 1977 280SE fuel delivery problems

Help me out guys,

I have a 1977 280 SE with the double overhead cams. I have just recently purchased this baby and don't have very much experience on MB. When i start the car, the fast idle kicks in great. After it runs for a few minutes the idle slowly but surley gets lower and lower untill it just dies. The total running time from start to die is anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes. Is this a choke issue? I have replaced the plugs with NGK's and i am getting great spark. I have also change the fuel filter. Anyone heard of this before? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks, Boss

M110, neat engine, sounds like a singer sewing machine but, tough as nails. Check the fuell mixture, vacum leaks and then reset the base idle. The adjuster is sort under the intake towards the front, its a white plastic slotted skew about 1/2" around.
