Can you jump the KILMA to see if it's the problem?
Well, after finding out that a new KILMA relay is just under $350.00 I would most certainly like to know if there's a way to jump the board that the KILMA plugs into to test and see if the KILMA relay is the reason my a/c compressor won't engage.
I'd hate to spend that much to find no change. Any help appreciated.

Part Number
I should have also added that the part number for the 88 300SE per our sponsor here is R2022-61960

Should have asked body class. That's not a W124, which is what I have but it is probably the same. Where did you find that relay in Fastlane? If it is the same number that fits mine I'll send the procedure to you.

The part number was not listed as anything I could recognize in Fastlane, so I sent an e-mail to PartsShop asking for the part number and price of the KILMA or KLIMA relay. I've types it so many times I can't actually recall which spelling is correct.

On the W124 bridging contacts 5 and 7 engages the compressor clutch, but I would let someone with your type service manual confirm that.
