Can anyone tell me how to replace the bottom hose on the idle valve? I am
replacing all the rubber to and from the idle valve but the hose coming off the bottom goes up underneath the fuel injection unit. Has anyone replaced this hose? Thanks in advance, Chris Prestridge 1988 190E 2.3 |

Yes, you have to reach under the intake and take out the hose with your hand from the front of the engine. It is not easy to get to and is tight to get back on. This hose will blow off and cause the engine not to run if you are not careful.
