As I'm doing some servicing on my 93 190E 2.6 Sportline, I decided to swap the hydraulic system fluid/filter as well. This car has both the Rear Axle Level control and the ASD diff options. They use a common resevoir for fluid.
When I removed the filter, it was so clean it looked new (I smiled). When I removed the resevoir tank to drain it, there was a pile of sediment in the bottom (I frowned and muttered nasty words). What gives?? Regards, KM |
