My oil pressure gage seems to be acting flakey. My car has 135K miles. What is the normal pressure reading on the dash gage at idle and at hwy speed. It shows pressure some times but only when the the engine is reving. I checked under the valve coves and the oil sprayers on the cam is putting out oil. No unusual noise from the lifters or bottom end. Where can I check the oil pressure at on the engine. What is the correct pressures.

At idle usually about a bar or so is oK. At hwy speed, the gauge should read 3 bar.
