My 88 300TE is pulling to left. Aside from tires and alignment what else might be causing this (Tires are fine- >3000miles MXV4). I would really appreciate a list of factors and why they might be so as opposed to a 'start with this' type response . For example, could faulty ball joints on control arm be a factor ?
Thanks in advance and regards farrukh |

Is this the same car that has a rear suspension problem? If it is stick to this rule when you are working on cars. FIX ONE PROBLEM AT A TIME. STICK TO THE BASICS. PAY ATTENTION TO DETAILS. DONT OVERLOOK THE OBVIOUS. This will save you countless hours and headaches not to mention $$$

I would add another to the list, and it's a very likely one also.
* Bad tires I have at times completed a four wheel alignment on a car that has new tires and test drove it only to find it drifted to one side. Everything was in the optimum spec range. I swaped the two front tires from side to side, and then the car drifts the oposite direction. I have had tire dealers tell me that it was not possible for the tires to cause a pull, especially if there was no wear pattern on the tires, but "the proof is in the pudding".
