To make sure you know. The four speeds are quite common in the 240D's, but were unavailable in US equipped 300D's.

RJ - they ARE out there. Just take your time finding it. Try to get the absolute BEST one you can afford. I purchased mine and it is currently the "garage queen". Looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor in and out. I take it to car shows and the big block Chevy crowd is ALWAYS impressed with the way the hood opens in the vertical position

Jim, that is a very beautiful 240D.
I know you paid a pretty penny for it, and I'm sure it was worth it, but can you give us a round ball-park figure of what you paid for it? Also, when I pay a visit to Atlanta, are you gonna drive the 240D or the 300TDT?
