How to remove a retining ring from hydraulic lifters. I am trying to
set hydraulic lifters to MB spec. In order to do so I have to replace upper shim which is held in place by retaining ring. Do I need special tools? I tried to use a thin scredriver and a scriber
but it did not work. Can anyone help and tell me what is the
correct procedure. Thanks in advance. Chris
