Starting with the W202 chassis M.B. uses special washers & bolts to set the alignment. There are bolt kits availible for slight correction of caster or camber. Only about +- 0.5deg.

It is best to leave your wheel alignment to an experienced Mercedes alignment tech. If you qualify, then to install the camber bolts you really need to use a spring compressor. Its not worth the effort otherwise. The caster adjustment can be made without this tool, but you need to have it on the alignment rack to make the final adjustments.
Final word, ask for a printout from the shops alignment machine! No body uses strings and chalk anymore.... ------------------ |
