floor vents are closed
As it's getting cooler now, I have discovered that the floor vents don't work. Anyone has an idea where to look for the problem?

boili,
When you save floor vents, the ones that come out left and right from the console and out from under the front seats to the rear passenger's feet?

If you mean the footwell vents and your vehicle's system is similar to an 85 123 model, the vacuum servo for the footwell vents is to the right of the accelerator behind the ductwork.

yes, I'm talking about the floor vent in the front well and under the seat. Could it also be the control unit rather the servo?

If it's similar to the 123 it could be the pushbutton unit, the switchover valve or the vacuum actuator. It's easiest to check the actuator and work your way back. At the actuator you can determine whether the pushbutton unit and switchover valve are sending vacuum to the actuator.
