speedometer flicker

I am getting a weird flicker in my speedo, like I have a loose connection. Everytime I hit a bump the speedo will cut out however, this only occurs when it is a big bump and if the car is warm. I pulled the cluster and everything is nicely attached so it is not there that is causing the flicker. Any other ideas out there.
