190e Will Not Start

ENGINE HAS SPARK AND FUEL BUT WILL NOT FIRE AT ALL
AN ENGINEER HAS SPENT 2 HOURS CHECKING EVERYTHING AND FAILED TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM - CHANGED ALL RELAYS - PULLED PLUGS AND SQUIRTED FUEL INTO CHAMBERS - CHECKED ALL WIRING - RAN OUT OF IDEAS
HAS ANYONE EVER HAD THE SAME PROBLEM?

Did the engine try to start when you added fuel to the air flow intake??
If so then you want to see if a large vacuum line under the intake manifold has "popped" off.

TRIED THAT - NO JOY
JUST HAD A CHAT WITH ANOTHER MECHANIC WHO RECKONED THAT SOMETHING ELECTRICAL WAS PREVENTING THE INJECTORS FROM WORKING

Injectors in 190E are completly mechanicals. No electricals involved there.

Do you hear fuel pump noise when you turn the key, before the you start crank?

Did you already check the fuel pressure regulator at fuel distributor?
