Static noise from Map Light area

I seems when ever the temp drops (or condensation from cool temp) I get a weird noise from the small speaker that is near the sun-roof switch. I cant even start to figure out what it is, I don't even know what that speaker is for or what ever it is.

Anyone else encounter this? I am thinking it could be something for the pre-wired phone that I do not have
