Potentiometer Resistance values anyone?
I have the dash off of my '91 190e 2.6--
What are the resistance values supposed to be for the blendair flap potentiometer? Does anyone know how to adjust one without the diagnostic socket box? Finally what is the voltage suppsed to be when adjusting at 'MIN' and 'MAX' on the temperature wheel? The CD uses units of pressure for voltage in section 83-134 of the CD. My potentiometer reads 4.4kOhms and 80 Ohms from stop to stop. Also, the CD gives units of pressure for the adjustment voltage at "MIN" on the temp wheel. |

Use volt meter in the 3 pin connector with the car running & temp wheel at MIN position. Between pins 1 & 2 you need 2.7 Vdc for the A/C compressor to operate properly.
You need the inst cluster plugged in to do that voltage check & adjustment.
