I have part# 126 820 05 66 and 06 66, left and right taillight lamp lenses, respectively.
These are listed in your Parts Shop.

Q - are these lenses the same and interchangeable throughout the entire 126 series, from 81 300SD through 91 560SEC/SEL and 350SDL ?
This would include 126s that were sold in Canada.

I'm little confused because there seems to be different 126 taillight assemblies but only one set of lenses listed.

There's different assembly is probably because the lights are little differ for Europ spec, and US spec. US spec has little red light that lights up with parking/headlight when the lights are turned on.....and Europ spec will have a orange reflector in place of the lights....

P.S. For anyone who doesn't know what I am talking about. Go find a pic of both US and Europe spec. Compare the taillights. US spec will have a red cover with lights in it. And right beside rear turn signals(W126).

The same lenses are used on all US and Euro versions of the 126 cars. However,
the assemblies are different because the US and Euro versions use different bulb holders. Therefore, different numbers are used for the US and Euro assemblies.
If you were just looking to replace lenses, then the lens part number would be
the same for US or Euro.

That was our conclusion.
Have an assembly, still new in the box, for a 560SEL coming from a private party in Canada.
He is letting the whole thing go for a lot less then the cost of the lens itself.
If anybody needs just the left side assembly without the lens...
