Could any one help me?
I need the part # for TDC transmittor on a 1977 450Sl Engine #117.985 12016460 Chassis 1107044-12-03746 thanks jmdunn |

JMDUNN:
I checked 4 different WEB parts providers including this sites Parts Shop and Fastlane. All show a "reference sensor" located at front crank pulley - sounds like a TDC sensor. The optional part number shown is 001 158 91 28. All sites listed this part as being unavailable. Sounds like a dealer item.

That sensor is ONLY for info to the factory scope(when connected). HAS nothing to do with the running of the car.
