Do Ineed a special tool/socket for C230 oil filter?
I am buying a 1998 C230 today!!!!!!!!!!! I want to change the oil this weekend. My impression is I need a special MB socket to get the filter off. Is this true? Is this a canister type or is it a spin on?
I was lucky to get the repair orders from the dealer that worked on the car. I noticed things such as solvent and a ring for parts every time the oil was changed. Any one know what these might be? I gottta get the Haynes manual this week.
