Unhappy 86 190E problem

I am stuck any help or suggestions are appreciated.
My 86 190E 2.3 will start and runs 10 seconds before it stalls.
If you depress the gas pedal it will stall immediately
My fuel pump is working and I have checked every fuse in the car.
Thanks

Is the start-up normal or difficult?

Check for a vacuum line disconnected. Sometime under the intake manifold. Do a search it may come up with something.

Graybenz,

I think JDUB is referring to the vacuum lines connected to the idle control valve near the firewall.
