Burned out vanity sunvisor light

How do you pop off the cover to the vanity light on a 96 E320?

Same question on a 2001 e320 sunvisor vanity light. I've tugged pretty hard on the lens, but it doesn't feel like it wants to come out. I'll feel like a fool if I end up damaging the headliner!!
