throttle contact switch
While troubleshooting a rough, high idle (1100 rpm in park/650 in drive) problem, I found that my full throttle contact switch was not making contact on full throttle application. Could this have anything to do with my problem? If not, what is the purpose of the contact at full trottle?

No Chip. The throttle contact has nothing to do with your problem.
This switch is depressed when you floor the accelerator pedal and sends an electric signal to the transmission to downshift (kick-down) JackD |

O2 sensor
Manual says replace the O2 sensor once at 60k. I've got 206K. Don't know if original owner replaced it as suggested but should'nt they be replaced every so often as part of good preventive maintenance or am I missing something?
