climate control making chirping noise when blower motor on

What do you think guys?

Time to replace motor or something else?

Does not make noise when set to defrost.

I need some opinions please.

Lubricate the bearings with ATF.

Instead of replacing the motor, I think you just replace the brushes. Plenty of threads about that if you search. But only if it stops blowing.

Boy are you in luck. A member just started the following thread with amazing instructions and pix to aid in repair:

Check it out. It's for a 124, but our 201s are basically the same. I need to do the procedure on mine when the weather warms up.
