I was wondering if it's time to change the shocks/springs on my '92 400SE. They still go very well, but I can definitly feel the "softness" stronger than the day I got the car. They are the first set from factory, and maybe it's time to change after 7 1/2 years??

If I do need them to be changed, are factory sets better than aftermarket ones?? I am thinking about doing aftermarket, and at the mean time lower the car an inch or so.....any suggestion appreciated.

Happy Motoring.....

I haven't had to replace any of the springs yet. The only things that could wear are the shocks.
