Does MB warranty transfer?

I am about to buy another MB. It is going to be fairly new 2 or 3 years old MB and I will be buying it from a MB dealer. My question is, does MB original warranty transfer to or does not? Will I still enjoy the remaining warranty or will I have to purchase extended one?
