Passanger Side Heat Only?
I could use some help on this one. It may be an easy fix but with single diget temp's out right now I want to spend as little time as possible out side working on the car.
My 1983 300SD has heat coming from the passanger side only (vent under the dash) The car heats up but I would like to fix the problem and get heat sooner on the drivers side. Where should I look ? Thank you |

Make sure the under-dash panel/knee bolster is installed correctly. If I remember correctly, the footwell is controlled by a single vacuum element. If the passenger side is working, the problem may be in the duct to the drivers' side. The under-dash panel/ knee bolster also acts as the duct. Crawl under and have a look. Good luck

Check for blockage in the duct for a blockage. Nice place for a mouse nest!
