"Great", "amazing", "well conceived & executed" are just some of the words that come to mind about this website and forum. Thanks for your help in advance!
After the transmission was replaced on our 1987 300E, we cannot start the car in PARK unless we move the shifter back & forth first, or put the shifter in NEUTRAL. Is there a switch or contact near the shifter that needs to be replaced/adjusted? |

I will say the neutral safety switch ( at driver side of trans ) need adjustment loose the switch first move switch untill you find the point you can start the car in park & neutral only,(if you can find a helper it will save you time)
