Test 7.3-1633 Anybody know where I can get the procedure?
I have the W124 CD but other than identifying the test, I cannot locate it on the CD.

I dismantled my fuel distributor. The shaft for the air deflector has two electrical contacts that connect to the black box three prong connector on the front of the fuel distributor. I have seen the test for value but cannot remember where it was.

Do you mean the air flow sensor?

Yessir I do. I suspected a leak at the plunger seal and dismantled the unit without benefit of training. Only after complete disassembly did I realize that I didn't need to remove the shaft. Now I have the formidible task of recalibrating this sensor.

Cap'n,
I just went to the same problem. In case you have not read this threat:
Urgent help needed with fuel distributor! You calibrate the fuel distributor to the sensor, NOT the sensor to the fuel distributor. It has to do with screw adjustment. I hope this helps!
