88 190e blower motor replacement

My blower motor sounded like a cricket for about 6 months, now it doesn't run at all. Push any climate control switch and nothing! I believe the blower motor quit. How difficult is the motor to get to? Can I do it myself, or is it an involved procedure to get to the motor?

Thanks for all your help!

Prayers bring forth enlightenment.

just changed mine in a 86 190e 16v
it takes about 30 min ,with a 8mm, 10mm ,13mm,and a screwdriver ,
first, grill comes out (4 , 5 nuts), the wiper linkage must come out, few bolts , slides out from passager side, blower box has 6 metal straps that pry's off easy, motor has one metal clip ,
pry's off easy, drop the motor in plug in , off you go.
