Hello,

Spent some time trying to replace the sunroof cable.

It does move all the way back using the manual crank. It will not tilt up very far using the crank however.

When I remove the sunroof headliner and disconnect the cable, I can only get the cable to come out about 4 to 5 inches and then it seems to jam -- the hand crank will turn but the cable will not move.

Two questions:

How far out should the cable be to know when it's disconnected from the motor gears?

Any advice on disassembling the sunroof motor to un jam the cable?
